Join us for our weekly yoga classes at our bright and spacious studio in Columbia. We do not use a registration system for in-studio classes, so please arrive and check in on-site. You can also purchase a class pass membership ahead of time.

Class Descriptions
At Amsa YOGA, we offer a variety of Yoga classes with varying degrees of intensity, for beginners to advanced students. Everyone is encouraged to practice within their own abilities and explore the benefits of a Yoga practice. We hope to see you on the mat!

Suitable for those with little or no previous yoga experience, recovering from injury or illness, those seeking a softer pace and mindful practice. Uncomplicated flowing sequences are designed to open the body, mind and spirit. Gently expand your understanding and knowledge of yoga poses, sequences, breathing techniques.

Relax. As you place your body restful, supported shapes, notice the invitation to let go. Postures are gentle and longer inviting release and rest. Thoughtful and inspiring guided meditation centered around Mother Earth is an extra treat Johnny brings to this special class.

A balanced class designed to help you connect with balance and stability while becoming more open and relaxed that is appropriate for all levels. Postures will focus on stretching the body within the movement of a gentle flow. Fantastic for students who are looking to work on standing postures as well as enjoy stretching in their bodies to attend.

A quiet, still, contemplative practice that invites students to connect in a very inner way as they practice. Postures are deep stretches that are held for longer periods of time, which allows for deep opening of the physical body as well as a spaciousness for the mind. Yin yoga moves beyond the muscular system and allows deeper layers of the body to release. In turn the parasympathetic nervous system is activated in this practice, encouraging you to truly rest. A beneficial practice for all levels.

Take a break! Schedule an early lunch break with yoga! Perfect for yogis that need to stretch in between meetings, make space for the day ahead, or breathe to settle the busy. Class will weave in movement, stretching, breathing, and unwinding the body and mind so feel a bit more free and gentle as you approach what is next.

Gain the basic building blocks for a yoga practice. A class that is for those new to yoga and those wishing to revisit the fundamentals. This class does move working with strength and stability. You will be supported with clear instruction as postures build to equip you with a solid foundation for a strong practice.

A beautiful blend of energies, become more centered and balanced. Flow portions of class will connect students with strength, stability, stamina, and will warm the body. The Yin portions of class will connect students with the equal and opposite energies or softness, surrender, stillness, and cools the body down. Find a deeper sense of balance in both physical and energetic bodies, while also inviting the observation of how more balance in daily life could be approached.

An intentional flow yoga class that expands upon the connection of breath and movement while weaving in mindfulness practices. Expect to move, breathe, and brighten your body from the inside out. Connect with strength and steadiness in this more dynamic class using mindfulness to keep you anchored to the present. Sweet nuggets to take with you off your mat as you approach the world from a more mindful place are an extra treat.

Moving with breath connection, expect to brighten up from the inside out. Alignment, fluidity, strength, and balance, will all be used in this stronger, more dynamic practice. A basic foundation of yoga is recommended before this class, come ready to deepen even more.

Can't make our class times, but still want to fit in your practice? No problem! We record some of our live classes so you can practice when it suits your schedule. The link for the class recording will be emailed to you after purchase.

Private Sessions
Individual or small group sessions are available in our studio. Private yoga classes with students can cater to individual needs and support your practice. We also schedule these sessions with friends, and small groups.
City Yoga at Amsa
City Yoga classes are now hosted in Amsa YOGA’s studio and everyone is welcome to attend. City Yoga classes function on a separate system with online pre-registration per class or $15 cash drop-in. City Yoga does not use passes, and Amsa passes do not apply to their classes. To join a City Yoga class, drop in to the studio for $15 cash, or register online through City Yoga.
